About the role

We are on the hunt for a killer account person who understands the ins and outs of getting to great work, and supporting the team and clients to get there. You will work closely with design, strategy and client teams to deliver across a number of projects in the tech space. We have a bias for strategic thinkers in ALL roles at This Place.

What we’re looking for

  • Account managing the delivery of retail and brand creative
  • Considering the right people to be involved in certain work, at certain points in the process
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation in clear, usable formats (e.g. project plans, status reports) - ie. everyone aligned on how the work is getting done and how “it’s going to go”
  • Own the planning and prioritization of team workloads, daily tasks and design sprints
  • Planning and scheduling key project milestones, meetings and workshops.
  • Quick on your feet to replan your work and rework your plan
  • Leading key project management meetings, e.g. daily stand ups. General comfort leading clients and teams and ensuring at the top and end of calls, direction and action is clear
  • Documenting detailed and structured meeting notes and summarizing meeting actions and next steps
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary This Place and client teams

Requirements for the role

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Authorized to work in the USA
  • Strong experience in project managing large content projects involving multiple teams and sometimes multiple agencies 
  • Confidence running a room
  • A solid grasp of the creative process
  • Conviction to suggest alt approaches / ways at it
  • Keen eye for detail and ensuring all strategy and goals from the brief are addressed and rounds of revisions don’t ultimately lead to loss of quality
  • Exemplary organizational skills and structured working style 
  • Knowledge of best-practice project management methods and tools
  • Meticulous attention to detail and personal time management 
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven leadership experience in a fast paced, growth environment

Nice to haves

  • Expertize in Google Workspace tools and their application to project management
  • Experience of project managing in-store and retail design projects 
  • Understanding of CX and web content ideation through to development
